Doha Metro Expands Metrolink to Religious Complex

Doha Metro is introducing a new Metrolink bus service to improve access to the metro for people living or working near the Religious Complex. This new service is designed to make travel more convenient for those in the area.

The M141 bus route will officially start operating from November 24, 2024. It will begin its journey at the Free Zone metro station. From there, it will travel to several locations near the Religious Complex.

This expansion is part of Doha Metro’s ongoing efforts to connect more communities to the metro network and enhance public transportation options in the city.

This new route will connect important places like the Workers Health Centre, Religious Complex, Philippine School Doha, Pak Shamaa School, Birla Public School, and Hamilton International School to the metro network.

  • Affordable Travel: Simple fare options with travel cards for stress-free journeys.
  • Wide Coverage: Three metro lines (Red, Green, and Gold) with 37 stations connecting major areas of Doha and its surroundings.

Metro Lines Overview:

  • Red Line: Runs from Al Wakra to Lusail, passing through 18 stations, including Hamad International Airport, Katara, and Qatar University.
  • Green Line: Connects Al Mansoura to Al Riffa (Mall of Qatar) with 11 stops, including Education City and Qatar National Library.
