National Day Celebrations at Darb Al Saai 2024

Celebrations Run Until December 18

The Ministry of Culture has officially announced that the National Day 2024 celebrations will take place at Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal. The event will begin on December 10 and continue until December 18.

A Variety of Events for All Ages

This year, the Ministry has ensured that Darb Al Saai offers numerous cultural and heritage activities. These include 15 main events with a total of 104 activities. The goal is to provide an enjoyable and lively experience that reflects Qatari traditions for both citizens and residents.

Showcasing Qatar’s Rich Heritage

Dr. Ghanem bin Mubarak Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs and General Supervisor of the National Day celebrations, highlighted the significance of these events. He described them as a “bright window” into Qatar’s cultural identity, which is rooted in diversity, pride, and authentic values.

Encouraging Participation from All

Dr. Al Ali invited citizens, residents, and tourists to visit Darb Al Saai and take part in the various activities. These events are designed to appeal to all age groups, making the celebrations inclusive and engaging. Moreover, they aim to strengthen feelings of loyalty and pride in Qatar’s national identity.

Daily Activities and Prizes

This year’s program features cultural, artistic, heritage, and educational events. On the main stage, visitors can enjoy interactive competitions organized with several ministries and entities. Additionally, participants will have the chance to win exciting prizes.

Darb Al Saai will open its doors daily from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Spanning 150,000 square meters, the venue is equipped with excellent facilities to ensure visitor comfort and safety. Visitors can also explore 80 shops, 30 restaurants and cafes, and enjoy 5 traditional folklore games.
